Your list is a business asset. If you're building for the long-term, you'll want to be always mindful of list building.
Your IBSoftShop has list building mechanisms already set up for you. Go to the bottom of any product sales page and look for the "Free Software Sign Up". This lead generation system collects your visitor's name and email address upon their subscription so that you can follow up with them. We will add more information here in the near future on how you can access the contact information.
These leads are yours. The leads are considered "shared leads", since Joe and Joe own the IBSoftShop sites, but NO ONE ELSE will be actively marketing to your leads.
If you're wondering whether or not there's an autoresponder available for your use, here's the scoop...
There is an autoresponder system associated with your IBSoftShop right now. It's tied in with the Free Software Offer at the bottom of each product sales page.
Our 2 Joes are also considering the installation of an autoresponder that you could customize for your own use. Stay tuned for more information on this.
On a slightly different note (still relating to list building), you've no doubt seen marketers using pop-ups, fly-ins, fly-overs, and other smack-you-in-the-face tactics for gathering names and email addresses. Furthermore, you may be wondering if you can use these devices on your IBSoftShop pages.
The answer is, Yes, you may use this approach, but only on custom pages that you build (or have built) for your IBSoftShop. For additional information on customizing your IBSoftShop, CLICK HERE.
Have you tried the "Free Software Sign-up" for yourself yet? If not, you should. Test it out. Get familiar with how the system works so that if you receive a question from a prospect or customer, you'll be able to help them.
When you test the Free Software Offer, you're going to receive an email from wizard@claysoft.com with the download information. I've had IBSoftShop managers write me and say, "The email sent to me with the free software belongs to someone else's IBSoftShop URL and not my own!"
Don't panic.
This is what the email for the free software looks like:

Your requested Software download is here:

We will notify you when more Software is available.
Enjoy!

Joe e. Clayton Jr.
IBSoftShop Creator
------- End "Free Software" Email -----------------
http://www.ibsoftshops.com is the "master" IBSoftShop that Joe owns. All downloads are done from his site because he and Creative Software own all rights to the products. This is actually a good thing. It's the foundation on which the entire IBSoftShop system is built. There's one common download area (Joe's site) and yet you're keep all of the money from the sales of the products.
